Today, I went out for a bike ride and decided to purchase a drink from McDonald’s. I continued to pedal and took a turn into the drive-thru where I was greeted with a little boy’s confused expression strewn across his face, in the car ahead of me. I proceeded to order and pulled up at the window to pay, where I was then received with an astonished face and laughter from the young/what-seemed-to-be-college-aged-cashier. We exchanged smiles and had a brief, but rather amusing conversation, before I took off with my drink. Bahahaha. It feels rather nice to break from conformity sometimes. :D

It’s nice to just take a breather every now and then and break from the bonds of this constant, perpetually moving society. To stop and admire the simple things, like the beautiful appearance of the sky or the way leaves change colors or someone’s laughter, really makes me bubbly inside, to say the least (taking a nice walk or bike ride away from technology to a peaceful park with a good playlist and a good book invokes such appreciation. I urge it upon everyone, hahah). Impediments can’t compare to these great things in life. To try and think of the magnitude of the greatness of the Creator of all this, is ridiculously unfathomable.
We’re living a good life.
Keep the Mary in Merry; and the Christ in Christmas.
Happy Birthday Jesus; and a Merry Christmas to all! :D
“We tend to become the decisions we make. The more we choose something, the more we become that something. With each decision we make, we pick up momentum in the direction of that decision. The momentum of our character becomes unstoppable. We create our character with our decisions, and our character, in turn, exercises more and more influence on the decisions we make.”
I am in complete disbelief at my grade. Chemistry was the death of me. Initially I saw only a minute chance of being able to raise up my grade in such a limited amount of time, but spending all those extra hours after school and lack of sleep really paid off. I’ll just keep the trend going to hopefully reach my desired goal. :D
Perseverance, Determination, and Focus.
